50th Anniversary Golden Gala

Complimentary parking is available for our Gala guests in the Fox Theatre Gold Parking Lot. Located underneath the Bank of America Plaza, it is on the same side of the road as the Fox Theatre just one block away. The lot address is: 600 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. Pick up a validation pass at the end of the evening as you leave. Scan the pass as you exit the lot and it will open for no charge.

Parking for Hotel Guests - For those guests staying at the Georgian Terrace or the Hotel Indigo, please plan on parking at the hotel and walking to the Fox. Both hotels are located within easy walking distance.

Attire for the evening is black-tie-optional. A complimentary coat check will be available upon entering the event space.

Enter the main Fox Theatre entrance beneath the marquis, and our event space is to the left before the central main doors. You are on the confirmed guest list so no physical ticket is required. 

6:00 PM: Reception in the Grand Salon
7:00 PM: Dinner and Program in the Egyptian Ballroom
9:00 PM: Entertainment
9:30 PM: Event conclusion

The reception in the Grand Salon will include a cash bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, photo opportunities, historical display, and a surprise commemorative activity. Table number assignments will be displayed alphabetically by last name in the Grand Salon.

A plated dinner will include salad, entrée, dessert, and a sponsored table side wine service, as well as an anniversary mocktail toast.

Fred Blankenship, WSB-TV news anchor and MPCS parent, will serve as host for the evening. The program will feature reflections honoring the rich history of MPCS, along with a visionary look toward its future. Highlights will include a special award presentation and the unveiling of a commemorative project. The evening will conclude with an intimate acoustic performance by Mac Powell and Mark Lee — founding members of Third Day and proud MPCS alumni parents.
