The Annual Fund raises unrestricted gifts to support the operating budget, which includes instructional materials, programs, equipment and technology, faculty professional development, and facility maintenance. The Annual Fund is tax-deductible, whereas tuition is not.

The Georgia GOAL education tax credit program allows Georgia taxpayers the opportunity to redirect a portion of their state taxes to MPCS and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. These vital resources provide scholarship opportunities for qualified students to attend Mount Paran Christian School. MPCS has been a GOAL partner for more than ten years. GOAL is leading the way in “Greater Opportunities for Access to Learning” throughout the state of Georgia.

MPCS accepts cash, check, and credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover), and gifts can be made online. Cash or check may be submitted to the MPCS development office by drop-off or mail. 

MPCS accepts and appreciates gift commitments (pledges), which are documented in writing and payable by an agreed upon and specified date. Many donors also find it convenient to set up an automatic recurring gift using the online giving tool. A pledge does not provide the donor with an income tax deduction until the year in which it is paid. To obtain your pledge balance, contact the development office. Pledge payments may be made by cash or check submitted directly to the development office or by making credit card payments online to Annual Fund.

Contact the development office to notify the school of gifts of stock/securities and for stock transfer instructions. Unless otherwise requested by the donor or the Board of Trustees, all marketable securities will be sold upon receipt.

Gifts in kind are gifts of tangible personal property that are in good condition, useful in educational programming, and/or readily salable. Gifts in kind must be approved in advance through the development office. It is the donor's responsibility to place a value on an in-kind gift for tax purposes.
