Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: World Language Chapel

Our lower school community recently came together to celebrate our World Language Chapel — a joyful highlight of National World Language Week! This special chapel invited us to honor the beautiful languages represented within our school and to recognize the cultural richness God has woven into our families. It served as a joyful reminder that each of us is uniquely created by God, and that the diversity of our backgrounds and languages reflects the beauty of His kingdom (Revelation 7:9).

During the service, Mr. Steltenpohl, High School Bible teacher, shared a powerful message about seeing every person as an image bearer of God (Genesis 1:26–27). Through his personal testimony, he reflected on how words and language shaped his life and faith, encouraging students to value the power of language to connect and inspire others.

The celebration also featured a meaningful visual presentation showcasing photos of lower school students and their families, highlighting the many countries and languages represented in our community. This vibrant display included more than 42 students and 29 families, reminding us of the beautiful diversity God has brought together within our school.

We are deeply grateful to all our families who participated and helped make this chapel so special. As a community, we look forward to continuing to celebrate the many languages and cultures that make our school such a welcoming and God-honoring place.
