Seventh-Grade Flutist Ava DeVaux Selected for Prestigious GMEA All-State Band

We are thrilled to announce that Ava DeVaux, a seventh-grade band student, has been selected to perform in the prestigious GMEA All-State Band taking place February 27 through March 1 in Athens! Ava will be performing with the middle school symphonic band as a flutist.

Ava’s achievement is especially remarkable as she was chosen from thousands of school musicians statewide following a highly competitive audition process. This accomplishment places her among the top twelve middle school flutists in all of Georgia. Please join us in celebrating Ava’s hard work and dedication—well done, Ava!
