Senior Spotlight — Violet Parada '26

Violet Parada ‘26 has been at MPCS since Kindergarten qualifying as a “Lifer.” She believes that the school focuses on each student as an individual and that each teacher makes every student feel seen while encouraging them to work harder. Part of the Georgia youth Symphony Orchestra, Violet participated in the following MPCS organizations: Beta Club, Dozier School of the Arts, International Thespian Society, National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Student Government Association, and Tri-M.

With multiple years of volunteerism, Violet has worked in the preschool and lower school classrooms, in the Dozier School of Arts, with the technical theatre, and the orchestra. Growing her student audio engineering skills, she assisted with show choir, the middle school spiritual emphasis retreat, and Chapel Band. She was the Stage Manager for “39 Steps” and “Hello, Dolly!” as well as the Assistant Stage Manager for “Godspell.”

Receiving the Provost and Second Century Scholarships, Violet will be attending Belmont University in the fall. She intends to study audio engineering technology in college with long-term career goals being an audio engineer on tour. She explains, “I love mixing live sound so going on tour and mixing various shows are my goals for my career. It has not always been my dream or plan, without taking Mr. Young's class, I would've never imagined that being an audio engineer was my dream.”
