Class of 2027: Schedule Your Senior Portraits This Summer
- Arts
- News
New this year, MPCS will be bringing our senior portraiture in-house! Every senior in the class of 2027 will be required to schedule a sitting time over the summer. The formal portrait studio is located in the Murray Arts Center, first floor in the rear visual art hallway (video production classroom). Multiple days and times are offered at your convenience so please select a slot as soon as possible. Because spots fill quickly, families are encouraged to schedule early to secure a preferred time based on the signup calendar link below.
Please have your formal portrait taken no later than August 3, 2026. You will have the opportunity to select the image you intend to place in the yearbook at the time of your photo session. Register online through the sign-up link below. Contact Mr. William Deal at wdeal@mtparanschool.com with any questions.
Helpful session tips
-
For gentlemen: Schedule a haircut 1–2 weeks before the session and shave the morning of the appointment, or at least arrive clean-shaven. A T-shirt should be worn to be under the formal jacket which will be provided for you at the sitting.
-
For ladies: Wear your hair in a familiar style, keep it styled so your eyes are visible, and consider neutral makeup for photos. A strapless top or camisole is recommended to be used under the formal drape that is provided. You will be able to change into this and check your hair and makeup before the sitting.
-
Parents: We ask that one parent accompanies their student during their session if possible.
If you do not see an available time that works, you may contact us by email for help.
Senior Dedication Ads for the Yearbook
Senior dedications are full or half pages in the yearbook where families may leave a personal message and/or scripture for graduating seniors, along with 3 to 10 images. These dedications are completed by families directly online through the Herff Jones website, www.yearbookordercenter.com, beginning July 1, 2026.
