Online Bookstore for Middle and High School

MPCS is now partnering with Ambassador to provide your middle and/or high school textbooks/ebooks at greater discounts. Booklists specific to your child's schedule will be posted in July. You will receive an email at that time alerting you that it's time to buy books. To order, follow the instructions below.

Ordering Instructions

1.    Middle and high school parents and students were emailed NEW login credentials to order student materials in their customized course bookshelf using the CANVAS direct link to the Ambassador online bookstore. This also ensures ebooks are loaded in each student's CANVAS classroom to gain quick access and use once school begins.

2.    Take note of your student’s CANVAS login credentials you received via direct email in order to login for each student. Login to CANVAS here:

3.    Once in CANVAS, navigate to your "class of" course via the Dashboard. 

 

4.   Select "MPCS Bookstore" on the left-hand side of any course. This will bring you to the bookstore menu.

 

5.    Select "Accept" on the landing page. 

 

6. Then select “New Order.” 

 

7. Your student’s unique bookshelf with materials for their chosen registered courses will be pre-loaded. (As a reminder, you may also view your child's entire class schedule by logging into the FACTS Portal.) Select "Continue."

 

8.   Choose your required items and add each one you'd like to order to the cart. Select "Continue." Please review the notes for each textbook carefully before making a purchase, as you do not need to buy physical books you have already purchased previously. Materials listed in the "Optional Items" tab are supplemental and not required for purchase, but may be good resources for your student. 

*NOTE: If you get a "Duplicate Purchase Warning" please ignore and go ahead and add that digital book to your cart. The digital books for each subject must be renewed for purchase every school year. 

 

 

9.    Review your cart and click "Continue."

*NOTE: If an item is on "BACKORDER," please go ahead and purchase the book as the order will be fulfilled quickly as soon as the resource is ordered. 

 

10.    Enter shipping and payment information and click "Place Order" to finalize the purchase. Feel free to use your parent email address for shipping confirmation. 

 

11.    You will receive a confirmation email for your purchase with delivery details. Digital materials will automatically be available to your student via CANVAS by the first day of school.

*NOTE: If you have multiple students in your family, you must logout of CANVAS and log back in with your additional child’s credentials to order each set of books separately.

Students are expected to have needed materials by the first week of school. Please complete your order(s) as soon as possible to allow time for the setup of digital texts and the arrival of all items prior to the first day of school. Allow up to 5 days for the purchasing to be completed.
