MPCS Students Selected for Georgia All-State Chorus

We are so proud to celebrate five of our grade 8–12 concert choir students — R. Beckham, E. Chancy, A. DeVaux, C. Durham, and B. Jones — who have been selected to participate in the Georgia All-State Chorus in Athens, February 19–21.

These outstanding choral students succeeded in a highly competitive, two-stage audition process held across the state, where only a small percentage of singers earn this honor. Special recognition goes to C. Durham, now in her fifth consecutive year, who remains on track to receive the prestigious Six-Year Award, presented to students who qualify for All-State Chorus every year from grades 7–12. We also celebrate E. Chancy, participating for the third time in All-State Chorus.
