MPCS Makes Monumental Strides at DECA

In their first-ever DECA appearance on December 3, Mount Paran Christian School had a strong showing with competitors in six events at the High School Region competition. Two teams earned top placements, with L. Broggi and M. Murphy placing second in the Financial Services Team Decision Making event and S. Tucker and D. Wu bringing home the first-place trophy for Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making. MPCS DECA is already making strides in their inaugural year, and has been invited to the State competition in February. Congratulations team!

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. In the fall of 2025, a group of pioneering students led by senior M. Callis, founded the MPCS DECA chapter and dedicated Thursday afternoons to sharpening their knowledge of business concepts and bonding as a team. While competition season is underway, they’re welcoming new members anytime.
