MPC Eagles Varsity Boys Win Golf State Championship
The Varsity Boys Golf team competed in the State Tournament over the last two days at Chimney Oaks Golf Club in Homer, Georgia. After the first day, the team trailed Walker by two shots. On the second day, the team got off to a great start and never looked back, shooting an astounding 23 under par on the day winning the Championship!
Freshman Alden Hudson won the boys individual State Champion title! Both Brody McQueen and Sam Binkley finished tied for fourth and Lee Smith finished in sixth. Freshman Bryer Cale finished tied for eighth overall. Congratulations to the team on its back-to-back State Championships!
