MPCS Middle School Flutist Ava DeVaux Ranks Among Georgia’s Top Eight
Congratulations to eighth-grade band student, A. DeVaux, for earning a position in the elite GMEA All-State Band event in Athens! Performing the flute for the middle school symphonic band, she was selected from among thousands of school musicians who competed across the state in a rigorous audition process consisting of scales, sight-reading, and prepared etudes. DeVaux is now ranked as one of the top eight best middle school flutists in the entire state of Georgia. Please join us in commending this fine student on her high achievement. Great job!
