Preschool Grandparents’ Day Thursday and Friday!
We are excited to welcome our preschool grandparents to campus for a unique Grandparents’ Day experience this year on September 17 (Pre-K3 and TK) and September 18 (Pre-K4). These events are starting in the Murray Arts Center with a coffee reception beginning at 8:30 a.m. Grandparents can gather with refreshments preceding the 9:00 a.m. program start time. This revised schedule allows grandparents with multiple MPCS students to enjoy special and dedicated time with each grandchild. MPCS families, please share the date and information with grandparents and submit a RSVP by Friday, September 11 on behalf of each grandparent who plans to attend our preschool sessions. It will be a wonderful event creating timeless memories!
THURSDAY, September 17 —
Pre-K3 and TK: 8:30-10:30 a.m.
FRIDAY, September 18 —
Pre-K4: 8:30-10:30 a.m.
GRANDPARENTS' DAY SCHEDULE:
Grandparents will meet in Grand Lobby of the Murray Arts Center for check-in. Grandparents of preschool/TK students will hear short remarks from our Head of School, Dr. Matt Kerlin, watch a special singing performance from their student, enjoy a Chapel worship & message with their student led by Mrs. Penny, as well as be invited to enjoy coffee, games, and a special version of Bingo. Weather permitting, golf carts will be available to shuttle grandparents from the parking lots to the Murray Arts Center at the beginning of the day, and back to their cars at the conclusion of the day. Should it rain, shuttle buses will be available.
Parents: We ask that YOU RSVP on behalf of grandparents and let us know the names of the grandparent or special guests who plan to join us by completing the form by Friday, September 11.
*Please RSVP with grandparent emails regardless of attendance. For any grandparents that cannot attend, we will be sending a special message. Thank you!
We are pleased to share that this year, our Grandparents' Day experience has been reimagined! In order to give our students more dedicated time with grandparents, these special events have been divided into three separate times of the year. Mark your calendars for these dates! More information to come for lower school signups closer to those event dates. Preschool event details are below and parents of preschoolers should RSVP for grandparents as soon as possible using the button link below.
