Congratulations MPCS Class of 2026!

MPCS congratulates the class of 2026 and all of their accomplishments. This group comprises 109 students accepted into some of the nation’s finest colleges, and universities. Students have received acceptance into 97 colleges and universities of which 19 are in-state and 78 are out-of-state. Out of the 97 acceptances, 48 are public schools and 49 are private schools. Out of the 45 private schools, 23 are Christian colleges.

The class of 2026 final choice college submissions indicate that 56 students have chosen in-state schools as final college choices and 53 students have chosen out-of-state schools representing the following states: Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indiana Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. 

From the class,18 students have chosen to attend Christian colleges as final choices: Belmont University, Greenville University, High Point University, LaGrange College, Liberty University, Loyola University New Orleans, Samford University, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Christian University.

 

The top colleges that have been chosen by the class of 2026 to attend are: 

1. Kennesaw State University — 15 students to attend

2. University of Alabama — 11 students to attend

3. Auburn University and Samford University — 9 students to attend each

4. Georgia Southern University — 8 students to attend

5. University of Georgia (48% admittance) and Georgia Institute of Technology (48% admittance) — 7 students to attend each

These top five choices reflect both excellent in-state options and excellent southeastern regional universities for our students.

Lastly, out of all scholarship funds reported from the class of 2026, 72 students will receive merit-based academic achievement scholarships. We also celebrate 12 athletic signings, 3 dance signings, and we are especially proud that 9 students from the Dozier School of the Arts will continue their passion for the arts at their selected colleges.

The combined merit-sased, athletic, and arts scholarships total $9.4 million dollars. When we include an estimated $3.4 million dollars in HOPE and Zell Miller scholarship funding, the Class of 2026 earned an estimated $12.8 million dollars in total scholarship funding.
