Congratulations MPCS Class of 2025!

MPCS congratulates the class of 2025 and all of their accomplishments. This group comprises 103 students accepted into some of the nation’s finest colleges, and universities. Students have received acceptance into 112 colleges and universities of which 21 are in-state and 91 are out-of-state. Out of the 112 acceptances, 67 are public schools and 45 are private schools. Out of the 45 private schools, 23 are Christian colleges.

The class of 2025 final choice college submissions indicate that 47 students have chosen in-state schools as final college choices and 56 students have chosen out-of-state schools representing the following states: Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. 

From the class, 20 students have chosen to attend Christian colleges as final choices: Belmont Abbey College, Berry College, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, Lee University, Reinhardt University, Samford University, and the University of Notre Dame.

 

The top colleges that have been chosen by the class of 2025 to attend are: 

1. Kennesaw State University — 10 students to attend

2. University of Georgia — 9 students to attend

    (41% admittance), and

    Auburn University — 9 students to attend

3. Georgia Institute of Technology — 7 students to attend

    (50% admittance)

4. Samford University — 6 students to attend

    Berry College  — 6 students to attend

5. Georgia College and State University — 5 students to attend

    University of Alabama — 5 students to attend
 

 

Some of the highly-selective school acceptances are: 

Case Western Reserve University, Clemson University, Dartmouth College, Florida State University, Furman University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Morehouse College, New York University, San Diego State University, Southern Methodist University, Spelman College, Syracuse University, Texas Christian University, University of Central Florida, University of Georgia, University of Michigan, University of Notre Dame, University of South Florida, University of Tampa, University of Virginia, and Wake Forest University.

Lastly, out of all scholarship funds reported from the class of 2025, one student was selected as a National Merit Scholar; 69 students will receive merit-based academic achievement scholarships and 22 students will receive athletic scholarships all of which total more than 9 million dollars of combined. This does not include an estimated 3.4 million dollars of HOPE/Zell Miller scholarship funding that totals for the class of 2025 an estimated 12.4 million dollars of scholarship offerings!
