Senior Spotlight — Cade Saldi '26

Cade Saldi ’26 is a true example of a student living a life modeling a Christian standard as a Mount Paran Christian School “Lifer.” Awarded the Positive Athlete CHOA Hope and Will Scholarship, Cobb EMC Scholarship, Eagle Backers scholarship, and a merit-based scholarship, Cade has shown exemplary characteristics of what a student striving for more looks like. Recognized as an AP Scholar and PAGE STAR Student, he continuously works relentlessly in everything he does.

A driven baseball player, Cade has shown Christ-centeredness on and off the field being awarded the Positive Athlete Top 7 Baseball Award, 643 DP Baseball Carson Rozeman Courage Award, and the Virtue Award for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Serving as the SGA Executive Vice President of Athletics, Cade worked in supporting all sports and athletes while attending as many events as he could. He also completed an Athletic Trainer Internship.

During his years at MPCS, he served in Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, HOPE, Key Club, President of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, President of the 11:1 Effect, and volunteered with the Horizon Special Needs Baseball League, the Calvary Children's Home, and the summer programs at MPCS. Co-leading the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student Visionaries campaign his junior year, he assisted in raising more than $130,000 to support families experiencing a cancer diagnosis. He was awarded the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student Visionary of the Year.

A cancer survivor, Cade shares, “My thyroid cancer journey gave me a perspective on life that I should serve the Lord by serving others as much as possible because I do not truly know when that person will be gone. That is why I seek to live a service driven life. MPCS has brought my faith in Christ into not just something I think about, but something I live out. The teachers and faculty have shown the love of Christ to me, and I now seek to reciprocate that to others.”

His advice to students, “Do not take chapel for granted. It may not seem like the most important part of your day, but it is. It may just seem like that much needed break you get, but it is not. Chapel provides the opportunity to worship your Savior in song and then learn about Him and your identity in Him. Lean into Chapel and do not let it just pass by because it is an opportunity most students across the world are not blessed with.”

Cade will be attending Samford University where he was accepted on a fast-track Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Influenced by his own cancer journey and his post-surgery recovery, he will major in exercise science and then continue on to the post graduate program where he will earn his DPT. He hopes to one day own his own physical therapy practice.
