Blue & Black Bash Pre-game Tailgate Schedule 2026

Friday night lights are upon us and we are thrilled to reveal our all-school tailgate themes with the MPCS family. Mark your calendars and join us for these great home events which begin at 5:45 p.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m. in time to head to the stadium for 7:30 p.m. kick-off. 

Hosted by Eagle Backers, the tailgates are a great way for our Pre-K3 - grade 12 students and families to join in on the pre-game school spirit before home football games. Please note the Jr. Eagle Spirit Nights each week. As is MPCS tradition, these special all-community events are not to be missed by students and parents alike!

The tailgate experience features:

• face painting by NAHS students
• food trucks
• giveaways
• Jumpies 
• Eagle walk with cheerleaders and Shelton the Eagle
• Kona Ice, and more!

2026 Tailgate Themes:

• August 28: DARLINGTON — "Beach Party" (Kindergarten-grade 2 Jr. Eagles Spirit Night)
• September 4: NORTH COBB CHRISTIAN SCHOOL — "Happy Birthday USA!" 
• October 9: FELLOWSHIP CHRISTIAN SCHOOL — "NEON Night Lights" (Grades 3-5 Jr. Eagle Spirit Night)
• October 16: MT. BETHEL CHRISTIAN ACADEMY — "Black-and-White Out" — Senior Night (Pre-K and TK Jr. Eagles Spirit Night) 
• October 23: WALKER — "BLUE OUT / Denim Night" — Homecoming Game, and Alumni Dinner

Jr. Eagle Spirit Nights are part of the MPC football experience so take note of the games where grade levels are invited to "The Landing" by the track to cheer the team onto the field. Students will also enjoy giveaways and a free tickets to the game (stop by the lower school tailgate tent to get your ticket). Dressing up for the themes is encouraged. (*If weather changes tailgate plans we will text our school community.)

*NOTE: As we cheer on our MPC Eagles throughout the football season, please remember that lower school and middle school students must be supervised by an adult and may not leave the stadium. Middle school students must be seated with an adult or in the middle school student section behind high school on the mountain side of the stands. "The Landing" turf area is available for parents to watch their grades Pre-K3— grade 2 children and is located on the mountain end of the stadium.
