Arts Student Selected for the 2025 International Christian Film and Music Festival

We are thrilled to share that Sam Boland '25, one of our arts seniors, has been making waves in the world of audio engineering and music composition. Sam’s sound editing and music scoring work for a short film has been officially selected for the prestigious 2025 International Christian Film and Music Festival! In addition to this incredible achievement, Sam is set to attend Georgia Tech this fall to pursue a degree in Audio Engineering, continuing his journey toward mastering both the artistic and technical aspects of sound production.

Murray Arts Center Audio Engineer, Marshall Young, has worked closely with Sam and shared that Sam’s natural talent, deep understanding of music theory, and exceptional technical skills have truly set him apart. “Sam has demonstrated a unique tenacity and patience, essential for success in post-production audio,” says Marshall, highlighting Sam's excellence both in class and in his independent work.
