All-State Orchestra Selects MPCS Student

All-State Orchestra is one of the highest musical honors a student can achieve. The program is highly competitive, often featuring the top 1–2% of student musicians across the state. Students dedicate months to preparation through private instruction, advanced repertoire study, scale mastery, and rigorous sight-reading practice.

The audition process includes two competitive rounds — one in October and a final round in January — where only the top performers advance.

Out of thousands of applicants, M. Jones was selected to participate in this prestigious ensemble. Jones will represent Mount Paran Christian School as a cellist at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia, performing on March 7.
