Music Student Selected for 2024 GMEA All-District Band
Congratulations to middle school band student A. DeVaux for getting called up into the 2024 GMEA All-District Clinic Band! This is an extremely competitive ensemble, with hundreds of flautists from throughout Cobb County competing for one of the highly coveted chair positions. To gain admittance, she had to pass a rigorous audition which included tests of scale memorization/facility, sight-reading, and solo etude performance. We look forward to her concert with this prestigious ensemble on February 10!
