MPCS sends our e-newsletter, the "Weekly Word" every Wednesday to all families and subscribers. Please read this primary communication source for school information and upcoming events each week to stay in the know!
Additionally, each division sends a monthly e-newsletter with the latest news and schedule updates specific to those grade-levels. The Head of School Memo is sent bi-monthly and arts, athletics, and Christian life e-newsletters are sent bi/tri-annually. And, be sure to read important email messages coming directly from teachers!

Join us for our Homecoming Blue & Black Bash pre-game tailgate on Friday, OCTOBER 18 from 6:00-7:15 p.m. as we get ready to cheer on our Eagles against B.E.S.T. Academy. Wear your "black-out" Eagle attire for the festivities featuring a DJ, more jumpies, face painting, Chick-fil-A food truck, the Eagle walk, giveaways, and more. Be sure to checkout the Homecoming festivities including the daytime parade, Alumni Dinner/Presentation, honoring of our 2014 State Championship football/cheer teams, and crowning of the queen!
November is just around the corner which means it's time to honor our MPCS family veterans at the Veteran's Day Chapel. If you have a veteran you'd like to feature in the video and/or invite to campus, please fill out the form at the link.
Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to our first Campus Preview admission event on November 7 at 9:00 a.m. Families with students in all grades are welcome to RSVP to join us early to learn about the core values of MPCS and get an on-campus tour of classrooms in action.
Congratulations to the 2024 boys varsity golf team for winning back-to-back State Championship titles. The players from the spring season team were presented with their State Champ rings at the football game in front of Eagle fans. Additionally, Shipley Smith '24 was awarded his individual track State title championship ring alongside the golf team. Tap to read the full story.
Tryouts for the winter sports season is on the horizon. Student-athletes in grades 5-12 should take note of tryout and start dates. Some teams are no-cut.
MPCS students achieved a record AP exam pass rate of more than 90%. This means that our high school AP students scored a 3 or better on AP exams last spring. These college-level exams gain them college course credits. Nationally, only 20% of students reach this milestone earning AP Scholar recognition. MPCS is proud of the 81 students who attained this status. Tap for the full list of scholars and details about this stellar academic performance.
Continuing this fall, high school students may sign up to take advantage of the many visits from college representatives to hear more information about admission and programs. Click below to view the college visit lineup and sign up for a meeting with a visiting college representative during advisement.
A full week of school spirit is planned as part of Homecoming festivities, October 14-18! Be sure to checkout the spirit week dress-down themes for your grade levels and make note of the daytime parade, parking requirements, and pre-game tailgate schedule.

We are pleased to present our 2024 MPCS homecoming court! Each of these young ladies were selected by members of their class to be representatives of our missional commitment to “honor God, love others, and walk in Truth.”

Moms or special guests of boys in grades K-5 should mark their calendars for October 25 for the annual PTF Mother-Son Picnic. This year, we'll be enjoying a movie under the stars. Click for details.
This year, MPCS will be highlighting the various history and heritage months through our new series "We are ONE commUNITY." First up, we observe Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 – October 15 by celebrating the history and culture of the Rivera-Pauley family!
Special congratulations to our girls MPC basketball team for winning the State Championship title last season for the third year in a row. The team was back together at the football game where they were presented with their beautiful 2023-2024 State Championship rings.
Held every other year, Culture Fest is a time of community fellowship that highlights and celebrates cultural diversity in our community through the display of crafts, foods, dances, music, and traditions. The event features family-hosted booths and tables from cultures around the world. We are asking families to host tables at the event on October 29 in the Murray Arts Center, Grand Lobby. MPCS college counseling will host the virtual event "Launch into Junior Year" on October 15 at 6:00 p.m. for the class of 2026. Parents and students should sign up to watch live and get valuable information on the college-planning process for your junior year.
Tickets are now on sale for the annual Homecoming Dance on October 19 for all high school students (grades 9-12). Tickets are $35 each and on sale now. Please review details and guidelines for this fantastic event.
Congratulations to MPCS senior E. Konnick who has been recognized as National Merit Semifinalist in the 2025 National Merit® Scholarship Competition. This is a highly esteemed honor putting him in the top 1% of high-achieving students in America.
Our MPCS Mock Trial Legal Eagles competed at the Yale Bulldog Invitational on the Yale University campus in New Haven, Connecticut. The team attended workshops and presented their case as attorneys and witnesses in four rounds of competition. Among all students from 26 participating schools, junior M. Harvey served as both a plaintiff and defense attorney and was named the highest ranking individual in the entire competition!
