The varsity swim team competed at the GHSA State swim meet this past Saturday. J. Stephens placed eighth in the 200 freestyle with a personal best time, and he earned a trip to the podium receiving a bronze medal with his third place finish in the 500 freestyle! A special thanks goes to senior J. Jones for pacing for this event, helping J. Stephens achieve a personal best time.
J. Stephens, S. Boland, A. Gilmore, and J. Jones competed in both the 200 Medley and Freestyle Relays, placing eleventh and seventh, respectively, with season best times for these relays. A. Gilmore placed ninth in the 100 Butterfly and eleventh in the 100 Breaststroke, also achieving season best times in these events. Congratulations, swimmers!
