The Georgia Dugout Club 2020 awards ceremony recognizes GADC All-State teams, players, and coaches. Congratulations to MPC softball pitcher M. Tamborra for being selected the 2020 Class A-Private Softball Player of the Year!
Additionally, Coach Greg Giles, who is a veteran coach but brand new to the Mount Paran Christian program, was also selected as the Class A-Private Softball Coach of the Year! Both were key to the GHSA softball State Championship title this year for the Lady Eagles.
Miss Tamborra, who achieved her 200th strike-out for the final out to win the State championship game, was also selected All-Area Pitcher of the Year and First Team, All-State First Team, and MPC softball’s 2020 Most Valuable Player. Combined with these other accolades, this is a tremendous accomplishment. Congratulations!
