Last week, the sixth-grade class participated in a research-driven Business Fair. After researching a successful American company, they created their own business, a business name, flyer, business card, business plan, and prototype product or service. They decorated a trifold display with their research and information about their business including the business plan. They deliberated on price point, payment type, and what do they need to be prepared for business fair event such as presentation skills and making monetary change. At the fair, student-entrepreneurs sold their innovative products and services to students, teachers, and parents. It was a real-life learning experience to help prepare our servant-leaders for their futures.
