As a member of the Mount Paran Christian School family for the past 15 years, Jack Baute is a learner who has proven that when Christ remains the center of all that we do, our trajectory is limitless. Jack has excelled at every turn at MPCS. As a member of the Eagle Robotics eam, Peer Mentoring Initiative (PMI), and National Honors Society, Jack has shown with a GPA greater than 4.0, that it is possible to operate to the best of your abilities and experience success in a plethora of extracurricular activities as well as academics.
Of his experience as a student at MPCS, Jack says, “Mount Paran has provided me with an environment where I can challenge myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. Having the chance to be educated in a Christ-centered classroom has given me a chance to excel academically and grow in my faith simultaneously.” He holds the England Study Abroad trip and the opportunity to see what “life is like across the pond” as one of his favorite memories of his experience as a student at MPCS.
Jack was accepted and awarded an academic scholarship to Clemson University. However, he will attend Georgia Tech, where he plans to study Mechanical Engineering. Jack credits Mr. Smith, Mr. Beard, and Mr. Minear among some of his most beloved teachers. He will hold the values and the examples of faith that these men have exhibited close to his heart forever. Jack’s parents are extremely proud of all that he has accomplished and are excited about what the future holds for him. His parents shared, “we are so proud of the young man Jack is becoming. He is genuine and trustworthy, responsible and wise, persistent and driven. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for his future.”
