The Parent Teacher Fellowship is pleased to present its annual Girls’ Night Out event on Thursday, November 14, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the North Metro Church Pavilion (2305 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW). In addition to music, dinner, and fellowship, attendees will enjoy evening worship with an inspirational message from Emmy award-winning host and producer Tran Bui Smith. The cost for this event is $10 per attendee and includes dinner.
When she was just three years old, Tran Bui Smith's parents made the decision for the family to escape Vietnam during the Fall of Saigon in 1975. They fled by boat and were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard. After staying in refugee camps, Tran's family finally established new roots in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Tran discovered a passion for television news, starting as a production assistant in college. She has worked as a producer, reporter, and anchor in various markets. Tran and her family moved to the Atlanta area four years ago, where she now runs her own production company.
Ladies, make plans today to hear Tran's inspirational message, while refreshing your spirit with worship time together. We invite you, your friends, moms, sisters, and daughters (middle school age and up) to be inspired by her message and spend time together in fellowship.
