Next ParentEd.: Redshirting

Next ParentEd.: Redshirting

Parents of toddlers, preschoolers, or kindergarten students won’t want to miss this informative ParentEd. Talk by our APK/transitional K teacher, Susan Laton. On March 25, she will discuss "Redshirting: Do They Need That Extra Year?" This hot topic covers educational readiness and the pros and cons of the recent trend to hold back children to give them an additional year of learning and maturity before starting kindergarten or first grade.  The event will be held in the MPCS Sewell Cottage preschool building at 7:00 p.m. Feel free to bring friends and neighbors who would benefit from this expertise.
