New Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Kelly Swanson

 

Each week, MPCS highlights a member of the faculty and staff so that we can continue to build our community.

Title: Dean of Academics

Education: Bachelors degree, University of Wisconsin - River Falls; Masters degree, University of St. Thomas; PhD, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

Number of years in my profession: 27

Fun fact: I love to travel! I love National Parks and road trips with my family: Jolaine, Becca, Jake, and Zach. I also love to write books, research, eat while I travel, and do professional development for teachers around the world.

Connection to MPCS: My son, Zach, is a junior this year at MPCS.

What I'm reading now or favorite book: The Bible. I like Bill Bryson, Paul Theroux, and other travel writers.

What makes me excited about working at MPCS: The faculty, staff, and students are so welcoming and passionate about what they do.
