Mount Paran Christian School has been selected as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “2020 Best Places to Work.” The Best Places to Work Awards highlight successful companies that are going above and beyond to keep their workforce happy.
The school was recognized as a Best Place to Work in the Large Employer (100-499 employees) category and was the only private school - in any category - on the Best Places to Work list.
MPCS was recognized for its success and hard work through these difficult times via a virtual awards program on September 24.
Quantum Workplace CEO Greg Harris, whose company has partnered with the Atlanta Business Chronicle for the past 16 years to analyze the data, describes the survey as the “most stringent workplace evaluation in the country.” Companies are employee-nominated and must receive a minimum number of responses for the data to be valid. The employee-engagement survey evaluates 37 topics. MPCS took fourth place in the Large Employer category, especially notable when considering the survey took place in the midst of a pandemic.
Here's some feedback from the faculty:
MPCS is truly the BEST place to work. Employees at all levels are valued and contribute to the overall success of the school. I don’t think one department feels “superior” to another. Many are the parts of the body. Employees feel supported and encouraged to do whatever it takes to not only be successful at their jobs but also to be innovative. We care for one another regardless of one’s position or role In the school. And most importantly, the fact that we are able to pray and worship together is truly what makes MPCS the BEST place to work. Other schools may be amazing, but the bond that we have as believers seeking to do Kingdom work creates the best “work environment”. I would do this job for FREE (don’t tell them that!) I don’t think I could teach anywhere else after being here at MPCS.

I have worked in six schools through my 22 year teaching career. I have now been at Mount Paran for 2 years, and I honestly feel like I won the job lottery. To say this place is exceptional would be a vast understatement. I have never worked under such able, competent, caring, involved, focused, and supportive leadership. They are truly concerned with the overall well-being of all involved at MPCS, from students to parents to teachers. They maintain an amazing balance between encouraging us to give our all and supporting us in protecting our family and health. Even in something as simple as taking a sick or personal day, I have never been made to feel guilty - which is very unusual in education. I am so grateful to be a part of this incredible organization.
