Thanks to a generous anonymous donor with a passion for baseball, the high school baseball field is getting a major overhaul. Professional-grade turf is being laid over the entire infield and outfield. The MPC Eagle branding is being sewn in. They also will install new netting, fencing, wind screens, and a bullpen. Our friends at ASG Sports Fields are working around the clock to prepare for the upcoming MPC baseball season.
The turf itself uses state-of-the art "Truhop" technology, making it the closest thing to natural grass in playability and performance. It is a more durable surface with no downtime for field recovery. Various base lengths will be installed on this field to accommodate both middle school baseball and softball, if the need arises.
Special thanks also goes to Samples Construction for expanding the field house to accommodate storage and and new locker room/changing area. The MPCS family looks forward to watching our baseball, soccer, and lacrosse teams dominate on these amazing new fields!
