The MPC Iron Eagle event is a tough test of overall fitness and athleticism. It requires players to use their strength, speed, quickness, and power in order to complete the four grueling events. During the summer, MPC male and female athletes are invited to attend weekly workouts and conditioning sessions three times a week. Athletes who consistentlly attend and build their fitness and stamina are invited to compete in the Iron Eagle competition. Each one of the athletes who participated should be proud of qualifying for the event as a certain number of summer workouts are required to gain entrance. All of the boys and girls competed well in the various athletic events.
Congratulations to senior A. Lake for being named the Iron Eagle XII champion for 2019! Also, T. Taliaferro earned the girl's title as Iron Eagle XII champion. Great work!
