MPCS has implemented an online tool for each of our school handbooks. Rather than accessing these through Eagle Links, parents and students can now find the login credentials for the electronic handbooks safely behind the sign-in on PlusPortals. Here's how:
1. Sign In to PlusPortals
Sign in (either as a parent or a student) in the upper right corner of the MPCS website.
2. Locate "School Links and Files"
Look for this section on the home dashboard toward the bottom of the profile/home page. You will see a link under "School links and files." Select and copy the password listed, and then click the link to be re-directed to the Handbooks login page.
3. Log In to Access the Handbooks
Be sure to KEEP the default e-mail address which is "firstname.lastname@example.org." Just simply paste or key in the password shown from the PlusPortals access link. Once you are logged in, you will automatically stay logged in each time you access the handbooks.
4. Select Handbook and Subheadings
Once you've selected the appropriate handbook, you can drill down under each title and subhead. It's simple to use the top heirarchy of navigation to switch back and forth between each of the division handbooks.
You can also search by terms which will bring up that subject in any/all handbooks. Even more, you may export any page, section, or the entire handbook to a PDF for printing.
*Note: Staff may access all handbooks and the Employee handbook through Eaglenet.
