GMEA Elite All-State Band

GMEA Elite All-State Band

Congratulations to tenth-grade band student Mackenzie Kormann and to eleventh-grade band student Darren Dunn as they have both been named to the elite GMEA All-State event taking place February 28 through March 2 in Athens! Darren will be playing clarinet in the eleventh and twelfth-grade symphonic band while Mackenzie made first chair bassoon in the ninth and tenth-grade symphony orchestra! They were selected from among thousands of high school musicians who competed across the state in a rigorous audition process. Well done, Mackenzie and Darren!
