The varsity girls lacrosse team made MPC history by winning Region for the first time since the program's inception! The team beat Walker 12-11 in an amazing comeback after being down with 3 minutes left. The defense held the Wolverines when they had the chance to go up by 4.
B. Abbott had a huge save to give the Lady Eagles the momentum. The draw circle won the last 4 draws of the game to gain possession. N. Arnold and A. Gray had huge ground balls on the draw. A. Hudson ended the day with 5 goals and 3 assists with 3 of those goals being in the last 3 minutes. N. Arnold had 3 goals and A. Gray and M. Meilstrup each had 2 goals.
We are all so proud of the hard work and commitment the team has shown all season. Girls will play in the State tournament next week!
