Our letter jacket vendor will be on campus Thursday, September 30, during high school lunch to take orders for varsity letter jackets. Any high school student who has already earned a varsity letter in athletics or fine arts is eligible to place an order on that date.
The cost is $170 (plus any desired upgrades), payable upon ordering. Please bring your check or credit card with you. An order form is available at Ms. Palomaki’ s desk or in the athletic office. Students must bring their earned letter with them to the fitting. Please contact Lisa Hicks in the Athletic Office at 470-440-4329 x 2090 with any questions.
As one of our core values, MPCS teaches students to be "pursuers of excellence." It is our goal to guide students to explore many of the opportunities available to them at the school for a complete and well-rounded education. To encourage this, MPCS offers high school students opportunities to earn a letter, which also will earn them area-specific jacket patches to signify their achievements.
The ultimate goal is for a student to potentially letter in all of the three "A's": Athletics, Arts, and Academics!
Students may now earn letters in each of the competition areas of our school. Depending on the activity or sport, students may be eligible to earn all three arm patches for their letter jackets:
- Athletics — by competing in a varsity sport or team (MPC Eagle logo patch)
- Arts — by competing in (high school) Marching Band/Winter Guard/Drum Line, or Region/State GHSA Literary or theatrical events/festivals (MPCS Arts logo patch)
- Academics — by competing in (high school) Mock Trial, quiz bowl, or Robotics (MPCS Academic Seal logo patch)
