Faculty Spotlight: Shannon Causby

Faculty Spotlight: Shannon Causby

Each week, MPCS highlights a member of the faculty and staff so that our community can further deepen our relationships.

Title: High School Science Teacher

Education: Bachelor of Science in Physics, Georgia Tech; Master of Science in Physics, Georgia Tech

Number of Years in Profession: 16

Fun Fact: I enjoy watching my kids participate in the activities they love and spend most of my time either figuring out how to get us all where we need to be or cheering from the sidelines for one of them. Baseball, softball, gymnastics, martial arts, cross country, swimming - we do a little bit of everything!

MPCS Connection: Two of my four children are currently enrolled at MPCS. My oldest graduated from MPCS last year and is a student at Georgia Southern University.

What Makes You Excited About Working at MPCS: I am excited to work with an excellent faculty that sets a high standard for our craft, while providing a great environment for learning more and trying new ideas. I'm also really excited to get to teach science through the lens of Christianity rather than the lens of the secular world.
