Faculty Spotlight: Mrs. Anna Willoughby

Faculty Spotlight: Mrs. Anna Willoughby

Each week, MPCS highlights a member of the faculty and staff so that our community can further deepen our relationships.

Title: Preschool PK4 Teacher

Education: Bachelors Degree in Middle Grades Education: Math and Language Arts, Kennesaw State University; Birth-Age 5 Certification

Number of Years in Profession: 10

Fun Fact: I love to be outside with my friends and family! Hiking through fall leaves or sitting by the ocean – being in God’s big creation with my people makes me happy!

Connection to MPCS: My son, Jacob Willoughby, is in seventh grade at MPCS. I also attended MPCS as a student when I was in kindergarten and first grade.

What Makes You Excited About Working at MPCS: My favorite part of being a preschool teacher at MPCS is having the opportunity to pour the love of Jesus into my amazing little students each day! Preschool is such an exciting age. Children learn and grow so fast. Watching them absorb everything they are taught, especially the Truth of God's Word, is awe-inspiring. Their bodies are small, but their faith is huge! Their joy is contagious; their love is heartwarming; their giggles are magical, and their antics are hilarious! Life in the Sewell Cottage is sweet!
