Executive Council Spotlight: Steven Kyle

The MPCS Executive Council is the key leadership team who helps make the day-to-day decisions in support of fulfilling the MPCS mission. We encourage you to learn more about each member as we feature the various departments weekly.

Title: Assistant Head of School for Christian Life

Education: Bachelor of Science degree, Religion/Biblical Studies, Liberty University; Masters of Education degree, Higher Education Leadership, Liberty University

Number of years in my profession: 25

Professional experience: I previously served as a head of school in Savannah, Ga., for eight years, as well as serving in Christian school leadership in five different Christian schools over my 25-plus-year career. Additionally, I am a licensed and ordained pastor for the past 18 years, as well as a speaker and teacher.

Fun fact: I love sweets and coffee. I also love hitting the gym every day, which is needed because of my love of sweets!

What I'm reading now or favorite book: I'm currently reading Gospel Fluency by Jeff Vanderstelt.

Connections to MPCS: Our two daughters are MPCS alumnae: Delaney is the class of 2020 and Emma class of 2022. Syndi, my amazing wife, also teaches AP-level Economics at MPCS.

What I love most about MPCS: I love the Christ-centered focus of community here at MPCS.

What I love about my role at the school: Working every day with students, staff, and parents is by far my greatest joy here! I love coming to work every day and serving our community in any way needed.

My hope for MPCS: My hope is that we continue to be a community saturated in biblical Truth and Christ's love!
