Executive Council Spotlight: Stephanie Dunn

The MPCS Executive Council is the key leadership team who helps make the day-to-day decisions in support of fulfilling the MPCS mission. We encourage you to learn more about each member as we feature the various departments weekly.

Title: Director of Admission and Girls Basketball Head Coach

Education: Bachelors degree in Journalism, University of Georgia; Masters degree in Education and Leadership, Liberty University

Number of years in my profession: 13

Professional experience: Previously, I served as Associate Admissions Director, Assistant Athletic Director, and Head Girls Basketball Coach for St. Pius X Catholic School, guiding the team to three State and six Region basketball championships. At Berry College, I led as the Girls Basketball Coach and was the Assistant Sports Information Director. And, I was a Journalism Teacher at Yeshiva Atlanta. Prior to assuming the Director of Admission role at MPCS, I was an Assistant Admission Director here. As MPCS Girls Basketball Coach, our team has now won two State and Region championships!

Fun fact: I read at least two to three novels per month.

What I'm reading now or favorite book: The Bible

Connections to MPCS: My oldest daughter, Kara, graduated with the class of 2022. My youngest, Layla, is in the class of 2027.

What I love most about MPCS: I love the opportunity that I have daily to learn from others about Christ and to freely share my knowledge.

What I love about my role at the school: I love meeting new people and being the person who introduces our wonderful school community to prospective families.

My hope for MPCS: My hope is that we will overcome the shortcomings of the world within our school doors and send out students who are life-ready and will stand on the faith and beliefs (even if they are newly found) that they hopefully learned while attending MPCS.
