Executive Council Spotlight: Jodee Foster

Executive Council Spotlight: Jodee Foster

The MPCS Executive Council is the key leadership team who helps make the day-to-day decisions in support of fulfilling the MPCS mission. We encourage you to learn more about each member as we feature the various departments weekly.

Title: Director of Human Resources

Education: Bachelor of Science, University of Tennessee Chattanooga; Human Resources Employment Law Certification, Cornell University

Number of years in my profession: 28

Professional experience: I was previously the Human Resources Manager at Parisian and for The Home Depot Store Support Center. I also previously served as the Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist at The Home Depot Store Support Center.

Fun fact: I love to deep sea fish.

What I'm reading now or favorite book: Before We Were Yours

Connections to MPCS: Both of my boys, Ben Foster and Matthew Foster, attended MPCS. Matthew was a "lifer" at the school, attending from grades PK-12.

What I love most about MPCS: Working at MPCS has been an incredible blessing to me over the past 16 years. It is truly like being with your family. I have worked at MPCS since 2007, but I have been a part of the MPCS community since 2003 when we enrolled our oldest son, Ben, in PreK-4 class. We truly are THE BEST PLACE to work!

What I love about my role at the school: What I love about my role is that human resources is ever-changing - whether it is compliance to new laws and regulations, new systems to make things more efficient, or new strategies and benefits to help our employees. Our mission statement in HR is "What matters to you, matters to me...helping MPCS employees achieve their very best....serving the Body....working for the Lord...changing the world." I am so very privileged to be serving at such a wonderful place that bears the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

My hope for MPCS: It is my hope and prayer that each student and employee feels that are loved and deeply known at MPCS.
