MPCS upper school is pleased to invite upper school students, staff, and families to a CommUNITY block party! This event, sponsored by the People’s Club and the MPCS CommUNITY Council, is open to the entire MPCS family.
Updated location and time! Join us in the Grand Lobby of the Murray Arts Center on Friday, February 25 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. as we continue to celebrate black history month.
Enjoy GASTONS food truck, games, spoken word, karaoke, and featured student artwork on display. There will be a poetry competition to begin the evening (students may sign up via link on high school announcements). Live music entertainment will follow in the Kristi Lynn Theatre, compliments of the Mumford Family Band.
We will also honor our championship-winning middle school Black History Bowl team! And, at 5:30 p.m., we will head over to the Hughes Gymnasium to cheer on our Lady Eagles basketball team.
We are excited to bring our MPCS commUNITY together as one united family as we celebrate diversity in the body of Christ!
