Thanks the Marietta Daily Journal / Cobb Life Magazine for recognition of MPCS as the “Best Private School” in Cobb county for the THIRD year in a row! A special congratulations goes to Mrs. Lyn Bennett (PK3), who was selected as one of Cobb’s "Best Teachers."
This is Mrs. Bennett's fifteenth year at MPCS. Her devotion as a pre-K3 teacher has impacted numerous children over the years, including some of the "lifers" in this year's graduating class. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Bennett worked in children's church ministry for ten years. She earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Gordon College. In 2018, Mrs. Bennett received recognition as a GISA Master Teacher.
Of her time teaching at MPCS, Mrs. Bennett says, "It is so important to share God’s love with our students from an early age. We want them to ‘grow up’ in the faith! I tell my preschoolers that God has a special plan for their life and that He will tell them early in life what that is if they will listen to Him speaking to their hearts. I also pray with all my parents at conferences that their children will come to know Christ early in life and always serve Him and be leaders of others to follow Christ.”
