At MPCS, the arts abound. Even during a pandemic, the school is so dedicated to the arts that intentional planning and care went into ensuring that students could still safely experience all that the arts have to offer. Indeed, MPCS was one of the few schools safely offering live performances during the pandemic. For this commitment to the arts, alongside its outstanding facilities and programming, Mount Paran Christian School has once again been recognized by Cobb Life Magazine as the “Best Performing Arts” program in Cobb county.
Students from preschool through high school experience all facets of the arts at MPCS. From performing to visual arts, MPCS programs have received the highest calibre recognition in all areas, including Governor's Honors, All-State, and Shuler Hensley awards.
The benefits for students are extensive. Arts education broadens creative thinking, develops discipline and a team-player mentality, allows for self-expression, and demonstrates love for God. Through the breadth of arts training opportunities that the school provides, MPCS is committed to training students to be educated performers of the arts.Through curricular programming in every grade level, and extracurricular opportunities and lessons, the arts serves as a powerful medium for the training of academic minds and creative thinkers.
