Best Bass Player in Georgia

Best Bass Player in Georgia

Congratulations to eleventh-grade orchestra member W. Duncan. After a difficult competition against all students single-A through 7A in the state, he has been named by the Georgia Music Educators Association as the 2020-2021 first chair double bass. As the principal string bassist in the elite GMEA All-State Orchestra, this honor means that he is ranked as the best high school double bass player in the state of Georgia! Please join us in commending this fine student on this high achievement. Well done!
