Basketball Standout Scores 1,000 Points

MPC junior basketball player K. Dunn recently earned a record-setting 1,000 points award. She scored this incredible amount of points for Mount Paran Christian Lady Eagles basketball in just two seasons, joining an elite group of MPC basketball players who have achieved this milestone.

In the first seven games of the season, Miss Dunn is averaging 24 points per game, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists, and 3 blocks per game. She has multiple Power 5 collegiate scholarship offers, including the University of Georgia, Florida State University, Georgia Tech, University of Florida, Indiana University, University of Alabama, University of Kentucky, Auburn University, Yale University, Miami University, Wake Forest University, and many more.

MPC Lady Eagles Basketball Head Coach Stephanie Dunn shared, “As I take off my mother hat and put on my coach’s hat, I must say that it is an honor to coach Miss Dunn because she has proven to be not only a hardworking, talented basketball player, but an excellent teammate as well. She is a selfless player and absolutely loves being a part of this team. I’m not sure if I would have fully understood these qualities from being a mother in the stands, but being up close and personal as a coach, I can see and understand her mindset so much more. She is a fierce competitor who gives her all and loves to win.”
