Service

As part of our mission to partner with home and church to prepare servant-leaders, MPCS offers service opportunities for our students, staff, and families through our Serve Saturdays. The MPCS family will have the opportunity to serve a ministry with which we already partner on a regular basis. We volunteer one Saturday per month throughout the school year, culminating in the schoolwide spring Family Serve Day.  We hope that you will join us as we live out 1 John 3: 18.

Our school serves more than just off campus.  We offer lots of opportunities for students to serve on campus as well, including mentoring opportunities, volunteering at concessions, serving in the arts, and more.

Family Serve Day is a designated day where our students, parents, teachers, and staff join together in teams to serve others throughout our community. As we unite with home to develop true servant-leaders, our prayer is that service becomes a lifestyle for our families at MPCS. We believe if families serve together, they are able to grow closer to God together. On Family Serve Day, parents, students and staff partner with more than 50 organizations to serve our community. Through this day of service, perhaps our families will continue serving together throughout the year at one or more of these ministries.

Registration for Family Serve Day opens in March each year, and takes place on a Friday in April.

Family Serve Day

Short-term missions experiences are an important part of a student's time at Mount Paran Christian School. Each year, students and leaders become the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus as they minister to the needs of others. Our mission teams are trained through the school, and the trips are open to students and staff.

Over the years, our students have served the Lord internationally in many countries: Costa Rica, Guatemala, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, and Ukraine.

We also have partnered with various organizations for short-term missions domestically. Previous domestic trips include ministries in Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.
