SERVICE

As part of our mission, MPCS realizes that, in honoring God, we are also called to love and serve others as a lifestyle. To bring this to fruition, we host an all-school (parents, staff, and students) Family Serve Day, where we partner with more than 40 locations to serve the community. We also host monthly service opportunities for our families through our Serve Saturdays program during the school year. By strategically partnering with organizations in our community on an ongoing basis, we can show the love of God to our community and help develop our students into servant-leaders.

MUST MINISTRIES

As an ongoing partnership with MUST, MPCS families support the needs that arise throughout the year. Between multiple food drives, the MPCS community has donated more than 8,000 items to MUST in their greatest time of need. In addition, Family Serve Day groups travel to multiple locations to sort, organize, and clean up the various collection facilities.

WALTON ADVENTURE CENTER

The Ridenour Adventure Center is an afterschool and summer camp program within a Walton community near our school. A team of high school students goes there every other week to help invest in the lives of the kids there.  Volunteers participate in the opening worship session during each visit, singing praise songs and praying with the children.  On a special visit during the Cobb County early release week, the volunteers organized and supervised a special edible craft project, which the kids loved!

WHAT ALUMNI SAY:

“Mount Paran fosters a strong community that emphasizes the importance of servant-leadership, authenticity, and virtue. Getting to go through high school in a Christ-centered environment is a game-changer. When a school prioritizes Jesus and lifting up his name with everything they do, it teaches us to live our lives for him in everything we do. That’s something I take with me to work every day. I just got married a few months ago, and about half of my groomsmen were the same guys that were sitting next me on Friday mornings in seventh grade, as we read scripture together. Amazing how life works.”

Serve Saturdays

As part of our mission to partner with home and church to prepare servant-leaders, MPCS offers service opportunities for our students, staff, and families through our Serve Saturdays.

The MPCS family will have the opportunity to serve a ministry with which we already partner on a regular basis. We volunteer one Saturday per month throughout the school year, culminating in the schoolwide spring Family Serve Day.  We hope that you will join us as we live out 1 John 3: 18.
