Family Serve Day

The Allatoona Lake Warriors are committed to collecting trash and cleaning up Lake Allatoona year-round. Their goal is to work toward maintaining and managing a cleaner lake.

Andrea Reid, our beloved high school anatomy teacher, has been greatly affected by her husband’s long battle and passing from cancer. This team will go to their home to serve them in their time of need.

Bartow Family Resource Center is a non-profit community organization reaching out to women and their families in Bartow County.

Belmont Hills Elementary is located in Smyrna, Ga. We will serve the school by reading to the students and helping to fill the school food pantry.

Blue Skies is a ministry offering weeklong beach retreats to lift families above the clouds of childhood cancer.

Books for Africa collects, sorts, and ships books, computers, tablets, and library enhancement materials to every country in Africa in collaboration with worldwide donors, publishers, and African partners.

Calvary Children’s Home provides a safe, loving, Christian environment for children needing placement apart from their families, where each child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential, with an emphasis on emotional and spiritual well being.

Camp Gideon is a Christian camp and retreat facility located on Lake Allatoona in Acworth.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta relies heavily on donations from outside groups to take care of the children in their 500 bed hospital.

This team is dedicated to serving children who have faced trauma as a result of a dog bite. Many times, police officers need leashes for dogs when they arrive on a scene. We will be making leashes from plastic bags.

First Care Womens Clinic works to empower women and support women facing unplanned pregnancy.

Gaines Park Assisted Living provides high quality service in a loving environment for senior residents.

Goshen Valley provides hope and healing to foster youth and vulnerable families to cultivate personal healing and generational change. 

GRACEPOINT School has the mission to equip dyslexic students with the skills needed to develop into independent and confident learners.

Hickory Hills is a Title I Elementary school in the city of Marietta.

H.O.P.E. Family Resource Center is designed to help, assist, and support persons and families in Cobb County who have faced overwhelming life challenges.

This is a student-only ministry site for high school students. Students and staff team leaders will pick up trash on Stanley Road around our campus.

Lambs Christian Academy's mission is to partner with local businesses, communities, and area churches to open Christian schools in economically impoverished areas, to help empower at-risk children spiritually, academically, physically, and socially, and to improve families and communities.
 

Marietta Police Athletic League’s motto is “It’s better to build youth than mend adults.” Their mission is to prevent juvenile crime and violence by providing civic, athletic, recreational, and educational opportunities that create trust and build understanding between officers and youth.

Mostly Mutts is an animal rescue shelter committed to saving the lives of dogs and cats.  Their market is a thrift store created to raise funds for the expenses related to animal care at Mostly Mutts.

This is a student-only ministry site for high school students dedicated to helping our operations team care for our campus.

High school students will help our preschool students in their classrooms with age-appropriate Family Serve Day activities.

This is a student-only ministry site for middle school students dedicated to helping clean our stadium area - specifically under the bleachers.

MUST Ministries is helping people in our community break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.

New Salem Baptist works to create a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts, and use them for God’s glory.

Outlet Community Church is a non-denominational, multi-generational, multi-ethnic church that exists to help people live out their created potential.

Reflections of Trinity is dedicated to serving the needs of families in crisis.  Their vision is to transform lives by tangible sharing the love of Christ through service and education.

Each day across Metro Atlanta, the Salvation Army Financial Emergency Services Centers provide emergency and life-sustaining assistance.

Sawyer Road is a Title I Elementary school in the city of Marietta.

The Table on Delk provides a safe place for those who are currently, or at risk of, being sexually exploited to have a meal and get connected to resources that they might not know about. 

Thankful Baptist Church strives to connect people through the love of Christ. The church is located near the school off Kennesaw Due West.

Tu Iglesia Hispana is a Spanish-speaking congregation ministering to the city of Marietta. The church ministers in different ways, including food distribution, English classes, youth outreach, and small groups.

The Zone is an extension of the Davis Direction Foundation’s non-profit corporation, that is led and governed by people in recovery, family members, friends, and allies.
