Family Serve Day

The Allatoona Lake Warriors are committed to collecting trash and cleaning up Lake Allatoona year-round. Their goal is to work toward maintaining and managing a cleaner lake.

Andrea Reid, our beloved high school anatomy teacher, has been greatly affected by her husband’s long battle and passing from cancer. This team will go to their home to serve them in their time of need.

Bartow Family Resource Center is a non-profit community organization reaching out to women and their families in Bartow County.

Belmont Hills Elementary is located in Smyrna, Ga. We will serve the school by reading to the students and helping to fill the school food pantry.

Blue Skies is a ministry offering weeklong beach retreats to lift families above the clouds of childhood cancer.

Books for Africa collects, sorts, and ships books, computers, tablets, and library enhancement materials to every country in Africa in collaboration with worldwide donors, publishers, and African partners.

Calvary Children’s Home provides a safe, loving, Christian environment for children needing placement apart from their families, where each child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential, with an emphasis on emotional and spiritual well being.

Camp Gideon is a Christian camp and retreat facility located on Lake Allatoona in Acworth.

This team will be making pillows for post-op cancer patients at Paulding Hospital. At lesat 30 pillows are given out each month. These pillows are used for suture sites and other areas of discomfort.

Chad’s Bracket assembles and delivers special wagons affixed with Chad’s Bracket to children’s hospitals across North America. The bracket holds IV poles, which help hospitalized children become more mobile

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta relies heavily on donations from outside groups to take care of the children in their 500 bed hospital.

Clarkdale Elementary School is a Title 1 school located in Austell, GA serving 700 students Pre-K through 5th grade.

This team is dedicated to serving children who have faced trauma as a result of a dog bite. Many times, police officers need leashes for dogs when they arrive on a scene. We will be making leashes from plastic bags.

First Care Womens Clinic works to empower women and support women facing unplanned pregnancy.

Gaines Park Assisted Living provides high quality service in a loving environment for senior residents.

Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro-Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free, limited admission haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach programs

GRACEPOINT School has the mission to equip dyslexic students with the skills needed to develop into independent and confident learners.

Hickory Hills is a Title I Elementary school in the city of Marietta.

H.O.P.E. Family Resource Center is designed to help, assist, and support persons and families in Cobb County who have faced overwhelming life challenges.

This is a student-only ministry site for high school students. Students and staff team leaders will pick up trash on Stanley Road around our campus.

Marietta Police Athletic League’s motto is “It’s better to build youth than mend adults.” Their mission is to prevent juvenile crime and violence by providing civic, athletic, recreational, and educational opportunities that create trust and build understanding between officers and youth.

Mostly Mutts is an animal rescue shelter committed to saving the lives of dogs and cats.  Their market is a thrift store created to raise funds for the expenses related to animal care at Mostly Mutts.

This is a student-only ministry site for high school students dedicated to helping our operations team care for our campus. Students will help in various areas around campus by picking up trash and other operations needs. Students will also help cleanup the stadium and under the bleachers.

High school students will help our preschool students in their classrooms with age-appropriate Family Serve Day activities.

MUST Ministries is helping people in our community break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.

New Salem Baptist works to create a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts, and use them for God’s glory.

Ronald McDonald Housei s a nonprofit that helps families with sick or injured children stay close to the hospital while their child is receiving medical treatment. 

Each day across Metro Atlanta, the Salvation Army Financial Emergency Services Centers provide emergency and life-sustaining assistance.

Sandy Hamilton, our beloved high school science teacher, has faced a challenging year while caring for her father and walking through cancer treatments. This service team will come alongside her by serving at her home, offering practical help, encouragement, and support during this season.

Sawyer Road is a Title I Elementary school in the city of Marietta.

The Table on Delk provides a safe place for those who are currently, or at risk of, being sexually exploited to have a meal and get connected to resources that they might not know about. 

Teach One to Lead One® is a community mentoring program that teaches Universal Principles to lead students into a life of purpose and potential.

Thankful Baptist Church strives to connect people through the love of Christ. The church is located near the school off Kennesaw Due West.

Truth in Nature is an outdoor ministry that exists to Reach Fatherless Boys Through Outdoor Christ-Centered Mentoring.Our goal is to help boys understand their purpose as Christian men and to help break the fatherless cycle in local communities across our nation.

The Zone is an extension of the Davis Direction Foundation’s non-profit corporation, that is led and governed by people in recovery, family members, friends, and allies.
