Boys Wrestling

Coach Arnold has served at Mount Paran Christian for more than a decade as the middle school P.E. teacher. Coach Arnold is the interim head coach for varsity football. Coach Arnold is also the high school wrestling coach. A native of Powder Springs and a 1989 graduate of McEachern High School, Coach Arnold was a three sport letterman in football, wrestling, and soccer. Wrestling under legendary Coach Gordon Pritz, Coach Arnold was a member of the first of seven consecutive state wrestling championships at McEachern.

A former United States Marine, Coach Arnold received a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Kennesaw State University and teaches physical education in the middle school. He comes to MPCS having worked as the youth minister at Powder Springs Methodist Church, coached football and wrestling at McEachern, and coached football, wrestling, and girl’s golf at Cherokee High School. Coach Arnold has been married for more than 20 years to his best friend Heather. The couple has three children, all MPCS students: daughters Nani Grace '23, Emmi Kate '25 and one son, CJ '31.

Jordan Mitchell serves Mount Paran as part of the operations staff, while also coaching the varsity and middle school wrestling team.
