Sports Medicine

The physical health and well-being of our student-athletes is a major priority for MPC athletics. The sports medicine program at MPC gives students opportunities to pursue their interests related to medicine, physical therapy, sports training, health, and fitness. Certified trainers work with athletes on a daily basis to recover from injury, build strength, and condition the body to excel in the sport they are passionate about. Students may enroll in sports med classes and assist trainers and doctors on the sidelines of all MPC sporting events. Sports med team members assist at all home sporting events and are critical is assisting athletes during games. 

The P.T. Solutions Sports Medicine room is located within the Knox Athletic Performance Center and is utilized by our sports med trainers and staff. Injuries are handled here as well as rehabilitation and performance testing. The Catherine Steel Sewell Stadium also houses a quick-access sports medicine room providing support to athletes for during-game injury assistance.
