Football Program at Mount Paran Christian School in Atlanta, GA

Jerimiah Aiken works at Mount Paran as a middle school PE teacher. He coaches varsity football as the defensive line coach, while also helping coach 7th/8th grade football as an assistant. During the spring, he coaches middle school boys lacrosse.

Coach Arnold has served at Mount Paran Christian for more than a decade as the middle school P.E. teacher. Coach Arnold is the head coach for varsity football. Coach Arnold is also the high school wrestling coach. A native of Powder Springs and a 1989 graduate of McEachern High School, Coach Arnold was a three sport letterman in football, wrestling, and soccer. Wrestling under legendary Coach Gordon Pritz, Coach Arnold was a member of the first of seven consecutive state wrestling championships at McEachern. Coach Arnold assumed the role of MPC Varsity Football Head Coach during the 2024-2025 season.

A former United States Marine, Coach Arnold received a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Kennesaw State University and teaches physical education in the middle school. He comes to MPCS having worked as the youth minister at Powder Springs Methodist Church, coached football and wrestling at McEachern, and coached football, wrestling, and girl’s golf at Cherokee High School. Coach Arnold has been married for more than 20 years to his best friend Heather. The couple has three children, all MPCS students: daughters Nani Grace '23, Emmi Kate '25 and one son, CJ '31.

Cedrik "CJ" Jackson works at Mount Paran as part of the Operations team. He coaches varsity football as the wide receivers coach. He also serves as the head coach for eighth grade boys basketball. He played high school basketball in his hometown Warner Robins GA and some college basketball. He is an assistant coach for high school football and JV/varsity boys' basketball. He is a graduate of Liberty University with an associate in education.

Tyron Kirkland is the offensive coordinator for Mount Paran varsity football. He is also an 8th grade math teacher at the school.

Carter Smith serves Mount Paran as the strength and conditioning coach for all of athletics. He is also an offensive line coach for varsity football.

Coach Kevin Cunane serves the MPCS middle school as a seventh-grade social studies teacher. Coach Cunane was a double varsity collegiate athlete. He played both baseball and football at Tulane University. He is a seasoned coach assisting with baseball, football, basketball, and flag football programs at MPCS.

Kyle Reese is the head varsity baseball coach and an assistant middle school football coach. Reese's coaching career spans over 25 years.

• 2 with Atl. Braves, 1 with St. Louis Cardinals and 5 with Kansas City Royals.
• Coached 3 years as asst. bull pen coach for the K.C. Royals.
• 2005 Region 5A Coach of the Year.
• 2013 Region 6A Coach of the Year.
• 2018 Region 6A Coach of the Year.
• Selected by Ga. Dugout Club to coach 2008 N. Georgia All Star Team.
• Selected by Ga. Dugout Club to be a coach for Senior Team Ga. In the Sun Belt Classic in Norman, Ok.
• Selected by Ga. Dugout Club to be a coach for the 2019 Senior All Star Series.
• 21 MPCS players have moved on to the College level since 2013;
• 2 to the professional level.
• 3 Region Championships at MPCS, 2 State Runner up finishes.
• 7 State Playoff appearances.

Married to Christina Facelli Reese for 27 years.
3 children: Payton, Jackson '15, Jordyn Marie.

Coach Taliaferro has been assisting with the varsity track and field team for many year. He also coaches offense for middle school football. Coach Taliaferro serves in the high school at the Roost and teaches marketing and entrepreneurship.

Coach Stallings has been a part of the MPC middle school football program for more than 5 years. He's the head coach for the 5th/6th grade boys football team. Coach Stallings has three children: Bo '19, Sophie '22, and Reed '25.
