Coach Ely has served as the Defensive Coordinator for Varsity Football and is now Head Varsity Football Coach. He is the Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Physical Education after serving as Director of Sports Performance. Coach Ely previously taught and coached at Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, GA and Cherokee High School in Canton, GA before coming to MPC. Coach Ely obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY and a Masters of Science from Georgia Southern University. He was a four-year letter winner in football at Cumberland College. His family includes his wife, Kathryn, and children Stetson, John Allen, and Amelia Grace. Coach Ely and his family attend Hickory Flat Church in Canton, GA.

Serves as a coach for various sports. 

Coach Jordan serves Mount Paran Christian as the Director of Athletics. He was the former varsity head football coach, winning a State title in 2014. A 1990 graduate of Darlington School, Coach Jordan was the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at his alma mater from 2002 to 2008. Coach Jordan received a bachelor’s degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, his Masters as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA Certification Commission) and a United States Weightlifting Association Club Coach. While playing football for Georgia Tech, Coach Jordan was a member of the 1990 National Championship Team and voted Outstanding Linebacker for the 1992 season. Mitch and his wife, Neysa Jordan, have three daughters: Mallory ’21 and twins Claire '23, and Riley '23. The family attends North Metro Church in Marietta.
