Professional Athletic Training program in Atlanta, GA

The physical health and well-being of our student-athletes is a major priority for MPC athletics. The athletic training (sports medicine) program at MPC gives students opportunities to pursue their interests related to medicine, physical therapy, sports training, health, and fitness. Certified trainers work with athletes on a daily basis to recover from injury, build strength, and condition the body to excel in the sport they are passionate about. Students may enroll in athletic training classes and assist trainers and doctors on the sidelines of all MPC sporting events. Athletic training team members assist at all home sporting events and are critical is assisting athletes during games. 

The Wellstar | PT Solutions Athletic Training Facility is located within the Knox Athletic Performance Center and is utilized by our student trainers and professional staff. The space has been newly renovated to include a full-service athletic training experience for our athletes. Injuries are handled here as well as rehabilitation and performance testing. The Catherine Steel Sewell Stadium also houses a quick-access athletic training room providing support to athletes for during-game injury assistance.
